Viernes Cultural – Elizabeth Meza in concert!

As part of our virtual events series “Cultural Friday” we are presenting a Jazz concert performed by Mexican artist Elizabeth Meza.

Elizabeth Meza is a composer and singer who recorded her first album TENDERLY in 2001. Since then and to date she has released more than 7 albums with a repertoire that ranges from traditional jazz, through bolero, Brazilian music and contemporary Mexican music, in which she has had the collaboration of renowned musicians such as Ed Calle, Luis Salinas, Armando Manzanero, Negroni Trio, Enrique Neri, among many others.

Based in Mexico City, she has been the host, along with Jon Secada, of LATIN AMERICAN IDOL, she has also participated in international tours with important Artists such as: Willie Colon, Deep Purple, Jim Brickman, La Ley, Ricky Martin among others.

In 2009 and 2014 she was nominated by the “Moons of the Mexican National Auditorium” as the best jazz show, concerts and collaborations in all of America and Europe.

In Mexico, she has performed successfully in various forums, festivals and theaters such as: El Auditorio Nacional, El Lunario del Auditorio, Teatro de la Ciudad, Esperanza Iris, Zócalo in Mexico City, Teatro Peón Contreras in Mérida, among others.
